Prost is a specialized magazine for nutrition, catering trade, hotel trade and tourism is Austria's strongest edition catering trade and hotel trade magazine and informs about trends, news and product innovations in the surrounding field of the catering and hotel industry.
The magazine is sent by mail to all catering, tourism and hotel businesses, large-scale catering establishments (hospitals, clinics, retirement and nursing homes, company catering) in Austria. Several hundred copies go abroad.
01.The brief
Our client asked for a restyling of their website.
For this project we had to create a website for a print magazin, therefore we started by sorting all the information given from the previous website and structured it in several categories. This way the users can find their way around more easily and the latest articles will be visible at first glance.
02.The website
The new website should work for users checking the latest news of the gastronomy sector, but also for clients who want to place ads across the website.
We kept the layout very minimal to highlight the articles.
03.The development
This website was developed using the newest website building tools and frameworks. A big milestone for development was the migration of ten years of content from an old CMS to the latest version of WordPress.
For the menu we choose an easy to access burger menu with a submenu, that features all the categories, which are also available in the printed magazine. Since the user is already familiar with this concept, he can navigate more efficiently through the pages.
