The Challenge

KTM & Husqvarna already had an online configurator - but instead of generating enthusiasm, there were hurdles that stopped the flow and conversions.

80% of users dropped off before they could even get started. No fine-tuning, no adjustment - the flow was interrupted before the journey even began.

The briefing was clear: A configurator that not only works, but inspires. Fast, intuitive, and uncompromisingly tailored to the driver.

UX research uncovered the biggest pain points.

We wanted to know exactly - and accompanied real bikers from the USA and Germany: with interviews, screen recordings, funnel analyses. It quickly became clear: the forced login was the biggest showstopper. No one wanted to register before it was clear whether the desired bike fits technically and financially.

Performance as a game changer

Through Server-Side Rendering (SSR) with Next.js, the configurator reacts in real-time - without any waiting times. Our partner agency Avocodo integrated a Product Content Hub (PCH) that continuously provides up-to-date prices and availabilities. Thanks to an optimized caching strategy, everything now runs smoothly, responsively, and reliably - regardless of the device or network.
