User experience online and offline: How UX/UI design from Wels ensures the perfect riding experience on KTM motorcycles
The KTMconnect app supports riders both on the road and off-road with a variety of features that ensure the ultimate Ready to Race experience.

Whether planning the route, turn-by-turn navigation on the motorcycle dashboard, or optimizing off-road performance. It is also possible to analyze the rides in order to become an unbeatable opponent on the respective terrain.
In order to make use of the brilliant technical capabilities that the KTMconnect app offers and to make the project usable for the users, we took on the role of UX/UI design.

Audit
In order to ensure efficient communication with the customer and to address the project at the right points, we started with an audit of the project.

Research
To understand and ultimately solve problems and fulfill the wishes of the users, our UX/UI designers collected and analyzed user data, conducted direct conversations with users, and carried out competitive analyses.

Concept
After collecting the data, we started the concept phase with a low-fidelity wireframe to illustrate and challenge an initial user-centered structure.

Design
When the concept of UX design was mature enough, it was handed over to the UI design team to develop an initial design for the planned structure.

User Testing
"Think outside the box!" The feedback from our experts is important and valuable, but did our colleagues wear motorcycle gloves while testing in the office or were they standing in the blazing sun on the roadside while using the app?

Development
Of course, continuous communication with the developers of the app was maintained in sprints to present only truly implementable solutions and to ensure the agility of the project from the UX/UI design perspective.

The result
